Formulated specially for the knife maker, Maverick Wax comes in this belt grease stick to help your sanding belts last longer and to aid better cutting. Knife makers took part directly in developing the product, and the formula that came out of that work accomplishes both goals.
Apply the grease to belts in grits 24-120 during stock removal and rough grinding. It can go on the first time you run the belt, and you can apply it again whenever the belt seems to stop cutting.
Abrasive grains in the grease add extra cutting action, while the tallow base keeps excessive heat from building up.
