Leather Holster Tooling for Stitching and Stamping
Shop leather holster tooling for stitching seams, burnishing edges and stamping a design into a holster or knife sheath. Stitching needles come in a 2-pack, the 3D stamping dies offer seven 1 inch square designs, and a spring-loaded handle and hardwood mallet drive them.
Our polished steel stitching needles, 1.850 inch long and 0.050 inch in diameter, are made for sewing holster seams by hand with waxed thread. Their smooth eyes keep the thread from fraying or snagging, and the precise tips pierce leather and canvas cleanly. With the seams sewn, smooth each edge on the 6 inch wooden burnishing tool, choosing whichever of its four grooves fits your leather thickness, while the large handle gives you a secure grip.
For a stamped design on a holster or knife sheath, choose a steel 3D leather stamping die in one of seven designs, such as War Eagle, USA Flag, Dragon or Live to Ride. The 1 inch square dies snap into our spring-loaded handle, whose textured grip gives you control while the spring balances the pressure. Drive it with the hardwood mallet, about 14.5 inches long overall, which serves as a soft-impact hammer for stamping and shaping leather.
