Holster Snap Sets for Leather and KYDEX®
Shop holster snap sets, each holding the four pieces that make one complete snap for holsters, sheaths or tactical gear in leather, KYDEX®, nylon and canvas. Choose a brass, gunmetal or nickel silver plate finish on Line 20 or Line 24, or go with the black Durable™ set, a Pull-the-Dot® set or a decorative designer cap.
The four pieces carry different names depending on the set. The Line 20, Line 24, Pull-the-Dot® and designer sets list a post, male, female and cap, while the Durable™ set is built from a cap, post, socket and stud.
Leather thickness decides between the two lines. Line 24, with its larger cap diameter and longer post, is made for 8 to 10 oz holster leather and heavier applications, and Line 20 brings a smaller cap and shorter post to leather of 5 to 7 oz. Both the Pull-the-Dot® colors and the 24 designer cap styles, among them Skull Head, Shiny Nickel Star and Roped Cross, are built on Line 24.
Holster makers who want a plain black snap can pick the Durable™ set, made in the USA to MIL-10884 specs (MS27980 Style 2) with a floating-ring socket for smooth, repeatable snap engagement. Plan to add a Snap Setter to your order, because each set installs with its matching setter and the tool is sold separately.
