Holster Mounting Posts for Clips and Attachments

Shop holster posts that pair with an 8-32 or 4-40 screw to give belt attachments, clips and accessories a solid anchor point on holsters and knife sheaths. Pick a T post for tight spots, a clutch pass-thru post, a double binding post for two-hole mounts, slotted posts in three finishes or a 10 pack of Chicago screw posts.

The right post depends on what you are mounting and how much room the holster leaves around it. Where clearance is tight, the T post keeps the attachment point low, in 0.1875 or 0.250 inch lengths. On a two-hole mount whose spacing matches the post, the Double Binding Post holds the attachment steady against the holster while you tighten it. For hardware that has to stay put under pressure, the stainless pass-thru post sets a non-slip clutch under its 0.390 inch head and comes in five lengths from 0.125 to 0.500 inch.

Slotted posts tighten and come out with a standard flathead driver, which keeps adjustments easy while a holster is still on the bench. Black oxide steel covers the 8-32 slotted lengths from 0.125 to 0.500 inch and one 0.250 inch 4-40 size, and black zinc stainless steel offers three 8-32 lengths. Gunmetal steel pairs a 0.500 inch 8-32 post with a 0.250 inch 4-40 post suited to lightweight holster hardware and compact EDC sheath systems. MRD (Mag Retention Device) attachments get their own black oxide 8-32 slotted post sized to the MRD hole, and a 10 pack of black oxide Chicago screw posts covers holster builds with #8 eyelets.

Depending on the holster, mounting a T, pass-thru or slotted post in reverse can add retention. Screws, washers and spacers for the same mount sit one level up in holster making hardware, and our team can help pair a post with your clip or mount.
