Three kit types come with sheet and holster hardware as well as tools. The Hybrid Holsters starter kit carries eight .080 KYDEX® sheets and two black leather hides, along with a Journeyman #8 die set and guide, three styles of clips, slotted posts and mounting screws. Starter Kit 1 (Journeyman #8) includes WAR-LOOP® belt loops in 1.5, 1.75 and 2.0 inch sizes, while Basic Kit 1 pairs Journeyman dies with black KYDEX® in .060 for the #6 build, .080 for the #8 and both thicknesses in the #6/#8.

Tool kits differ in how they set eyelets, from hand setters at the Basic level and a setter and guide system at Journeyman to Master Series dies on a Professional Flaring Press in the Master Series and Deluxe Series. All of them include #6 and #8 eyelet drill bits and a heat gun. Deluxe Series kits also bring five DIY holster making kits for standard and light bearing concealment holsters, a 1-piece IWB on a FOMI belt clip, a 1-piece OWB on a paddle mount and a cowhide-backed hybrid.

Each tool kit uses a 12 inch molding press, a 24 inch press in the Master Series and Deluxe Series, or a metal taco press with Maxx or Xtreme foam. Holster assembly hardware has its own Hardware Kit, with black-coated slotted posts from 1/8 to 1/2 inch, flat and truss head Phillips screws and Chicago screws in three lengths.
