An adjustable sliding key block sits on the PL-3S Valkyrie, a compact WML that runs on two CR123A batteries. It reaches a maximum output of 1,000 lumens with a throw of 200 meters, raising light output 8% over the PL-2 and making it suitable for field search, self-defense and law enforcement. A 200-lumen low setting supplements that output for use in more situations.
The PL-3S keeps the tail button design of the PL-2, which accounts for both left and right-handed operation, so switching between its three output modes is easy. Adjusting the key block on the rail mount lets you position the light on the rail, making the Valkyrie compatible with a broader range of builds. A new set screw gives a more solid mount and makes disassembly easy. With its high strength and brightness, the PL-3S provides a more professional illumination choice.
