This mounting and drilling template creates precise, repeatable hole patterns for installing FOMI clips on your finished holsters, sheaths, and accessories. Made in the USA from durable steel plate, it streamlines hardware installation and ensures accurate, clean, professional hole placement to simplify your workflow. The same hole pattern also works with Flush Mount clips, drop loops, and similar attachments.
Choosing Your Carry Angle:
The carry angle sets the cant, or forward tilt, of the mounted clip. Straight mounts the clip vertically at 0 degrees for a neutral, straight up-and-down carry. The adjustable options let you set any cant from 0 to 20 degrees, so you can dial in the exact forward tilt you want for a more natural draw and easier concealment. A higher angle tilts the holster further forward.
Choosing Your Thickness:
The template thickness sets how far off the gun or knife the thermoform sheet (KYDEX®, Boltaron®, or HOLSTEX®) is molded, and how far the mounting hardware sits from the firearm. A thicker template (3/16in / 0.187) molds the sheet higher off the gun and positions the hardware further away for added clearance. A thinner template (10ga / 0.135) molds closer to the gun for a tighter, lower-profile result.
