This KYDEX® thermoform sheet comes in Flat Dark Earth - Spring with the P1 texture, a standard material for makers who want consistent forming, long-lasting durability, and professional results on all kinds of projects. Made for both DIY and production thermoforming, it forms cleanly when heated and holds its detail for good once it cools, without shrinking, warping, or fading over time.
The popular P1 Hair Cell texture gives the finished side a uniform, non-reflective, scratch-resistant surface, and the smooth back allows precise forming and clean contact on the inside. P1 Hair Cell is a favorite texture for holsters, knife sheaths, and carry gear, with a good balance of grip, durability, and clean good looks.
KYDEX® forms very well at standard thermoforming temperatures, roughly 300°F to 375°F. Just heat it, mold it with forming foam, let it cool, and finish the edges to shape. Once it sets, the material holds its form while staying lightweight, waterproof, and easy to care for.
Hobbyists and professionals alike use KYDEX® thermoform sheet for projects like these.
- Holsters and knife sheaths
- Protective covers and guards
- Cosplay and costume parts
