Holster Molding Presses, Vacuum Formers and Foam

Shop holster molding presses that shape heated sheet around a handgun, whether you press it in a steel bench or taco press or vacuum-form it in a VacuForge™. The same presses form knife sheaths, and CKK Series foam, pre-cut VacuForge™ membranes and a belt loop forming jig are stocked alongside them.

Foam pressing starts with the steel bench models, each sold with Maxx, Mega or Xtreme foam, and a flat Micarta® or G10 surface can stand in on one side for a flat-backed holster. The top plate lifts out for height changes, then a channel lock and chain keep it seated while the holster cools. Taco-style fold-over holsters and knife sheaths go in the wood or steel Taco Model, a two-wing book-style press sold on its own or with center foam.

For vacuum forming, each VacuForge™ holds a heavy-duty membrane in a pinch-retention lid that magnets keep closed before drawdown. Choose the 12 x 12 or the XL 16 x 24 work area and connect the vacuum pump you already own. Each work area has its own pre-cut membrane 2-pack and MDF heat-sink board, while the gauge, 8-32 lid hardware and push-connect fittings work on either press. Membrane for your own press comes 49 inches wide by the linear foot, so a quantity of 1 ships as a 12 x 49 inch piece.

CKK Series foam by HOLSTEX® is double-sided, resilient and made to limit memory marks, and each of its three grades comes in several sizes. For belt loops, the Diez Design jig takes 0.060 to 0.093 inch sheet with its hinge screws in, or up to 0.125 inch with them out. Heat guns for warming sheet and setters for finishing the holster are listed under holster tools. For a shop moving from foam to vacuum, we can talk through which VacuForge™ work area fits your holster lineup.
