Shop a sew-it-yourself kit for the Citadel® M-1911 Compact (3.50in), with a right-hand pattern already cut from Black or Espresso 8-9 oz cowhide. Mini Slide, Pancake, Snap Retention and Thumb Break are the four styles on offer, and the kit is made in the USA.
Each style holds the gun in its own way. A Mini Slide carries it high on the belt in a compact open-top slide, and a Pancake keeps a low profile with two leather panels pressed together by the belt. Snap Retention and Thumb Break both add a strap held by a snap, freed in one case by an upward pull and in the other by your thumb.
For the build itself, the kit includes the cut panels, eyelets with mounting hardware, a 6-inch burnishing tool, sandpaper, waxed thread and threading needles.
