MatchPoint USA designed this Universal Chest Carry System around an EDC Ultimate Backer that straps to the chest with a 1.50 inch woven elastic strap and a 1.00 inch polypropylene webbing strap. There is no stitching anywhere in the setup. Every piece of webbing can be repaired in the field, because slip-locks take the place of standard stitching and keep everything aligned. The elastic strap and the webbing strap both adjust at each end, so you can dial in exactly where the system sits.
About the EDC Ultimate Backer
The EDC Ultimate Backer is a hybrid holster backer with a mesh grid that breathes, keeps sweat off and lets you choose your carry angle. To put the backer to work, mount a KYDEX® shell to its front using common holster mounting hardware. It is made from Comfortuff 420, a material that keeps the backer sweat proof and odorless while staying soft to the touch and breathable.
