This Level II Hood Kit adds Level II retention to a handgun holster for more safety and security. Whether you need it for a security requirement or just for extra peace of mind, this add-on set converts any Level I holster to current Level II retention standards in very little time.
Made for holster makers, the Level 2 Hood Kit adapts easily to any holster as a Level 2 retention system. It steps retention up from Level 1 by adding an active mechanical element with a thumb break release. Holster makers who supply law enforcement or military customers that need more than Level 1 retention will find it a good fit.
The set includes one 5.75 inch hood, five mounting posts and four mounting screws.
