It is designed for a lifetime of use and brings precision and reliability to every project.
This versatile press forms both flat-faced and full wraparound sheaths or holsters, and it handles knives, handguns, web-gear, flashlights, magazine clips, and more. You can mold with foam on both top and bottom, or put a flat, hard surface like Micarta® or G10 on one side. A removable top plate allows quick height adjustments and gives you greater control. The channel locking system holds the top plate in place, while the retention chain adds security, letting you focus on other tasks as your heated material cools. Pre-drilled footer holes on the bench model let you mount it securely, which is ideal for stable, consistent production. With no separate clamps or loose foam to manage, you get a smoother, faster molding process with professional-grade results.

How to Use
- Bring your thermoplastic material (KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, Boltaron®, or leather) up to 300 to 375°F, based on the material and your oven, and heat it evenly for best results.
- When the material is at temperature, wrap it around the object you are molding, such as a knife, gun, or flashlight, and check our video tutorials for guidance.
- Set the wrapped item in the press, which takes both foam-covered and flat-backed molding styles, then adjust the top plate for height and, if you wish, secure it with the retention chain.
- Apply pressure until the material molds to the item, then let it cool and set into its final form.
- After it has cooled and hardened, take it out of the press with care, and your sheath or holster is ready for finishing.
