Flat-faced and full wraparound sheaths or holsters can both be formed in this versatile press, and it works for knives, handguns, web-gear, flashlights, magazine clips, and more. Mold with foam above and below, or set a flat, hard surface like Micarta® or G10 on one side. The top plate comes off for quick height adjustments, so you have greater control. A channel locking system keeps it in place, and the retention chain adds security, freeing you for other tasks while your heated material cools. Mount the bench model securely through its pre-drilled footer holes, an ideal setup for stable, consistent production. Molding becomes a smoother, faster process with professional-grade results, with no separate clamps or loose foam to handle.

How to Use
- Heat the thermoplastic material you are using (KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, Boltaron®, or leather) to 300 to 375°F, as the material and your oven require, and keep the heat even for best results.
- With the material at temperature, wrap it around the item you plan to mold, whether a knife, gun, or flashlight, and watch our video tutorials for guidance.
- Place the wrapped item in the press, which works with both foam-covered and flat-backed molding styles, adjust the top plate for height, and lock it down with the retention chain (optional).
- Use the press to apply pressure so the material molds to the item, then give it time to cool and set into its final form.
- With the piece cooled and hardened, lift it carefully out of the press, and the sheath or holster is ready for finishing.
