- Gauge means the thickness of the KYDEX® sheet
- .060 inch is thinner, lighter and more flexible, ideal for small knives and low-profile sheaths
- .080 inch is the popular all-purpose standard
- .093 inch and .125 inch are thicker, more rigid and more durable for larger blades or heavy-duty use
