Holster Eyelet, Snap and Rivet Setting Tools

Shop holster eyelet setters, snap setters and a rivet setter for rolling eyelets on KYDEX® and HOLSTEX® holsters and installing snaps on leather holsters and knife sheaths. Work by hand with a Basic Series setter and a hammer, add the optional guide to Journeyman dies, or mount Master Series dies and snap setters in their 22 lb press.

Eyelets on KYDEX® and HOLSTEX® holsters need a clean flare, and each eyelet tool here rolls a #6 or #8 eyelet to a secure finish. The Basic Series hand setter is a heat-treated stainless base and ram set for hammer work. Journeyman Series dies are tumble-polished stainless pairs set with a small hammer, and the Journeyman die guide holds them in line. Master Series hardened stainless dies, also made for Boltaron® and ABS holsters, fit a modified arbor press, a drill press or the 22 lb Master Series press.

Snap size follows the thickness of the leather on your holster or knife sheath. Heavier 8 to 10 oz hides call for Line 24, which has a larger cap and a longer post, and 5 to 7 oz leather takes Line 20. The Basic snap setter comes in both lines, the Journeyman Line 20 setter flare-sets male or female snaps with light taps from a peening hammer, and the USA made Master Series snap setter works in the Master press. With the male and female caps lined up in its base cup, the Basic Series rivet setter compresses a double cap rivet into a secure bond.

For drills, heat guns and presses, visit holster tools, and our holster team can confirm whether a #6 or #8 eyelet suits your design.
