On a thermoform holster shell, the eyelet holes come from CKK Design drills in #8 (1/4 inch) and #6 (3/16 inch), each one made to cut a precise hole for its eyelet size. After drilling, a 2.00 inch stainless steel CKK countersink bit reams each hole, and its 1/4 inch hex shank grips firmly in a drill press or cordless drill.

The Noga RC2000 brings that cleanup to hand work. Press the button on top and the blade lines up vertically to pass through holes as small as 0.195 inch, and the reversible blade cleans both the inner and outer side. Snaps, Chicago screws and mounting posts need clean holes too, and the 8-piece hole punch sets cut them through leather, spacer material and thermoform in small (5/64 to 11/64 inch) and medium (3/16 to 5/16 inch) ranges.

The Milwaukee® M18 Compact line comes in two configurations, a cordless drill with impact driver or an impact driver combo, and its compact, balanced build reaches into tight spaces. Browse our holster tools for presses and eyelet setters, and reach out if you want help pairing a drill with your eyelet size.
