Holster Making Hardware and Fasteners
Shop holster making hardware for assembling thermoform and hybrid holsters, from the eyelets that hold a shell together to clip mounts, adjustable retention and leather or Comfortuff 420 backers. Slotted post assemblies like the SPTHA, SPTHRA and SPUMA handle clips and retention, EPDM washers and spacers set the standoff, and snap sets and swag hole medallions finish the build.
Holster hardware decides how a thermoform shell holds together, rides on the belt and grips the gun. Eyelets and rivets join the shell layers of a holster or knife sheath and bind belt loops, while belt clips, Tek-Loks and similar attachments go on with mounting assemblies like the SPTHA and the Tactical Mounting Assembly. Match pass-thru, T or slotted posts and 8-32 screws from .1875 to 1.00 inch long to the thickness you are mounting through, while washers and spacers supply EPDM cushioning and the added clearance of Raven Concealment™ and TRS™ designs.
Retention can be tuned at the bench as well. Turning the truss head screw on an SPTHRA closes the gap between shell layers for a firmer hold on the gun, and the MRD sets draw resistance on magazine holsters with one set screw. Hybrid builds pair the shell with a holster backer in 8-9 oz cowhide or MatchPoint USA Comfortuff 420, and a 1.50 inch matte black mounting ring anchors chest and thigh strap rigs.
Snap sets run from Line 20 and Line 24 styles to designer caps and the self-piercing Durable™ set, and the cord, chain and webbing range carries coated webbing for IWB straps plus shock cord that holds accessories against a mounting plate. Swag hole medallions such as the Cowboy Skull and Winged Dragon, along with press-fit studs, give a finished holster its own character.
