Offered in several sizes, they hold two layers of KYDEX® or HOLSTEX® together and roll over smoothly with any of our eyelet flaring tools to give a firm, dependable hold.
Reading the size
Sizes follow a diameter-length format, for example #6-9. The first number gives the hole diameter (#6 is 3/16 inch, #8 is 1/4 inch). The second gives the barrel length, which tells you the two-layer stack thickness the eyelet is sized to flare over.
- 6 suits two layers of about .060 inch
- 8 suits two layers of about .080 inch
- 9 suits two layers of about .093 inch (.080 to .093)
- 12 suits two layers of about .125 inch
