How to pick a size
Each size is written as diameter-length, such as #6-9. The first number is the hole diameter, where #6 is 3/16 inch and #8 is 1/4 inch. The second number is the barrel length, which decides how thick a two-layer stack the eyelet can flare over.
- 6 for two layers of about .060 inch
- 8 for two layers of about .080 inch
- 9 for two layers of about .093 inch (.080 to .093)
- 12 for two layers of about .125 inch
