Weapon Light Molding Widgets from American Safety Molds™ improve the holster molding process by providing extra clearance for firearms equipped with weapon lights. Without these widgets, the thermoform sheet (KYDEX®, Boltaron®, or HOLSTEX®) can mold too tightly around the light and sink into the trigger guard area, potentially locking the molding prop or firearm into the holster and preventing a smooth draw. Easy to use and tested to withstand repeated use, they are ideal for both one-time and high-volume production. Sold in pairs.
Choosing Flat vs Round:
Match the widget shape to your weapon light. Flat widgets are shaped for lights with a flat or squared face, while round widgets are shaped for lights with a rounded or cylindrical bezel. The round widget comes in two materials: HDPE (white) is a durable plastic option for everyday use, and aluminum (silver) is a more rigid, longer-lasting metal option for heavy or high-volume production. The flat widget is HDPE (black).
