Choosing Your Thickness:
The template thickness sets how far off the gun or knife the KYDEX is molded, and how far the mounting hardware sits from the firearm. A thicker template (3/16in / 0.187) molds the KYDEX higher off the gun and positions the hardware further away for added clearance. A thinner template (10ga / 0.135) molds closer to the gun for a tighter, lower-profile result.
